Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a project using Cadasio, and I’d like to know how to add annotations showing the quantities of parts, similar to the examples shown on your website.
Here’s an example to illustrate what I’m trying to achieve: this image is from the showcase “Skrivbord”
I couldn’t find clear information about this in the documentation. Could you guide me through the steps or point me to a resource that explains it?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi @user14357,
Sorry for the delayed response. The forum software flagged it as spam for some reason.
Those are simply text items that have been added, and then the values have been manually typed. We have a few videos which detail toolbox items, but this one is probably a good starting point - Toolbox 2D
It seems like an automatic quantity property could be a good addition to the software, so I have logged it. It gets a bit complicated as guess it would need to have options of whether to be the total quantity or just the visible. It would also need to auto update if items are added via an update or when things are hidden/shown - which would make things even more complicated and maybe why it’s not already in the software. Either way, I will raise an enhancement request to see what we can do.
