I have to export the metadata table to excel to add a new column (that I cant add in cadasio) then import back into cadasio but when I do that the table no longer can be used to highlight the components within an assembly. Any suggestions?
At this moment in time, unfortunately the cross references in tables do not operate when it is populated from an excel file (it effectively becomes a dumb table).
If the data in SolidWorks is populated correctly, the meta data should get picked up so this can be used without using excel.
