I would like to be able to have the viewer click on a label to open a popup or window that could provide additional information on the item of interest. I believe I could send the viewer to a new step but that could get confusing very quickly, so a popup like function would be preferred.
We do have the step popup functionality, which can be activated when clicking on an item via an on-click link. However, you can only have 1 per step. The other option may be to use on-click links to toggle the visibility of something. Finally, if it is just a small bit of information, tooltips may help if it’s related to a particular 3D part.
If none of the above are suitable, could you give us an example of the sort of information and behaviour you would like to see so we can look at adding it to the software?
