Selecting one surface to change its colour

Hi,

I am trying to select one surface of a part and change its colour. Is this possible I can only select the whole part?

Hi @user4188 thanks for the question.

Due to the way we convert your files into simple meshes, this is not currently possible, essentially there is no concept of a face. I have added you to an enhancement to be able to do this / split parts up, but that in itself brings issues when it comes to updating.

At the moment I can only suggest creating a copy of the surface in your CAD application (i would actually try an offset just so there’s no clash) and making sure the option to bring surface bodies is ticked.
