Update a Project shared to me

Is it possible to update a project that was shared to me? I can make changes to the steps and edit the project through the web app, but the Solidworks Addin can’t access any project not specifically created by me? Even with the “Show all projects” box ticked.

Is there any way to update the CAD from the Solidworks addin to a project that wasn’t created by me?

Hi Jonathan,
At the moment, the addin only supports updating of the projects you own, but this will change in the future. For now there is a workaround where you can get the user that owns the project to create an access key, then you can use that to update the project in Solidworks. please see the following video…
